During may and september we will commemorate, in Jerusalem, in Tiberias, and in Padua, the 300th anniversary of Ramchal's birth.

The Conference at Padua , the completion of the 300 th anniversary of Ramchal's birth, will take place in conjunction with the Municipality and the Congregation of Padua. It will focus on the cultural history of Judaism in Italy, with special emphasis on Ramchal and his time. Amongst the speakers and people present will be rabbis of Italy, selected rabbis from Israel and Europe, the head of the Association of Jewish Congregations of Italy- Professor Amos Luzzatto, and the head of the Ramchal Institute in Jerusalem- Rabbi Mordechai Shriki.

The conference is scheduled for only one day, in the Jewish Ghetto of Padua. The event will be led by Rabbi Viterbo and Rabbi Lutzi, the rabbis of Padua.

NEW PUBLICATIONS:

Melech Olam- on the teaching of Ramchal, authored by Rabbi Mordechai Shriki, and published especially for this anniversary. It presents to the wider reading public Hashem's unifed control of the world, and the rectification of creation before the revelation of Hashem's unity.

Derech Hashem -a new pocket edition, complete with introductions and brief explanatory comments. It will be distributed to all participants of the World Conference at the Binyanei Ha'uma in Jerusalem.

The 300 th Anniversary of the birth of Rabbi Moshe Chayim Luzzato offers a festive opportunity for a renewed appreciation of his greatness amongst congregations of Jews in Israel and abroad, strengthening an awareness of his stature for our generation.

In a time of lack of certainty and a prevalence of divisiveness, Ramchal lights up a pure path of wisdom and holiness, capable of unifying all the congregations of Israel. For this purpose it is necessary to recognize and understand Ramchal's true profound message, not merely his books of mussar and emunah, outstanding as they are.

The Celebration aims to make a tangible contribution to this process, and to forge a path for a continued deepening of the study of Ramchal's teaching in public, the very goal of the founding of the Ramchal Institute.
